金秋十月,北京朝陽力邁學(xué)校高中部的升學(xué)沙龍活動繼續(xù)如火如荼地進(jìn)行著。10月17日上午,高中劍橋班的同學(xué)齊聚會議室,在升學(xué)指導(dǎo)老師的帶領(lǐng)下,共同舉辦了主題為“劍橋國際高中課程留學(xué)規(guī)劃”的升學(xué)沙龍。10月18日,HOSA組委會的三位老師來到力邁學(xué)校,為同學(xué)詳細(xì)介紹了HOSA

In the past week, Beijing Chaoyang Limai School has held two college counselling salon lectures: “Cambridge International High School Curriculum Study Abroad Planning” on October 17th, and “HOSA Knowledge Sharing Session” on October 18th.
1 劍橋國際高中課程留學(xué)規(guī)劃

在劍橋升學(xué)規(guī)劃沙龍上,升學(xué)老師從“劍橋國際高中課程體系介紹”“考試規(guī)劃”及“愛丁堡公爵獎”三個方面,為劍橋班的學(xué)生介紹了在不同年級,我們可以為留學(xué)申請做哪些準(zhǔn)備,包括劍橋考試季的時間,成績等級,海外大學(xué)錄取要求舉例,如何使用愛丁堡公爵獎記錄日?;顒尤罩?,增加課外活動履歷等。
In the meeting, the college counselor introduced students from the Cambridge programme to preparations that can be made in different grades for studying abroad application, including an introduction to the Cambridge International High School curriculum, exam planning, and The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
因為屬于英國教育課程,有些劍橋班的學(xué)生和家長會有疑問,學(xué)習(xí)了劍橋課程,孩子是不是只能去英國留學(xué)。針對這個問題,升學(xué)指導(dǎo)老師在沙龍講座中也做出了回答。作為享譽(yù)世界的高中課程體系之一,A Level被稱為通往全球大學(xué)的“金牌課程”。憑借A Level成績,學(xué)生除了可以報考英國、美國、加拿大、澳大利亞等英語母語國家的大學(xué)外,還可以報考新加坡和中國香港的大學(xué)。
Some students and parents of Cambridge classes may have questions about whether studying the Cambridge course means that their children can only study in the UK in the future. As one of the renowned high school curriculum systems in the world, A Levels are known as the “gold standard curriculum” for admission to global universities. With A Level grades, students can not only apply to universities in English-speaking countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia, but also to universities in Singapore and Hong Kong, China.

HOSA Knowledge Sharing Session
10月18日上午,我們邀請了HOSA組委會負(fù)責(zé)人彭少霖老師,HOSA學(xué)術(shù)負(fù)責(zé)人覃秋曲老師和HOSA組委會裴歡老師,為對生物健康領(lǐng)域感興趣的力邁學(xué)生,舉辦了一場HOSA知識講座。
On the morning of October 18th, we invited teachers from HOSA Organizing Committee to hold an academic lecture for Limai students interested in Biology.
裴歡老師首先給同學(xué)們介紹了HOSA是什么。作為一個極具影響力的生命健康與公益實踐素養(yǎng)研習(xí)平臺,HOSA (Future Health Professionals) 已經(jīng)經(jīng)歷了47年的歷史積累,每年在全球范圍內(nèi)吸引超過26萬名學(xué)生參加,累計影響學(xué)生人數(shù)超過350萬。
Firstly, Ms. Hesper introduced to the students what HOSA is. As a highly influential platform for life health and public welfare practice and literacy research, HOSA (Future Health Professionals) was founded in 1976. It attracts over 260,000 students worldwide annually and has impacted more than 3.5 million students cumulatively.
HOSA has designed three workshops for students, namely “Academic Testing Center” “Beneficial CE” and “Career-oriented CE” to support students’ growth.
HOSA為學(xué)生設(shè)計了三大研習(xí),分別為“生化學(xué)科基礎(chǔ)研習(xí)”、“公益影響力實踐研習(xí)”以及“生命健康專業(yè)研習(xí)”,助力學(xué)生多元成長。
講座的最后,裴歡老師詳細(xì)介紹了HOSA 2024活動季的參與流程、報名須知,以及能得到的學(xué)術(shù)支持。歡迎對生命健康與公益實踐方向感興趣的同學(xué)積極參加,也祝愿大家都能有豐富的收獲!
At the end of the lecture, Ms. Hesper provided a detailed introduction to the participation process, registration requirements, and academic support available for the HOSA 2024 activity season. Students who are interested in life, health, and public welfare practices are welcome to actively participate. We also wish everyone a fruitful experience!

HOSA競賽共有三大活動類別,10余項項目可選,同學(xué)們可選擇1-3個類別,每個類別僅能參與一個項目。HOSA 多元的挑戰(zhàn)項目覆蓋生命健康領(lǐng)域多個細(xì)分學(xué)科,包括行為健康(心理學(xué))、營養(yǎng)學(xué)、病理生理學(xué)、生物實驗室、心肺復(fù)蘇/急救等,幫助學(xué)生深度挖掘?qū)I(yè)興趣,構(gòu)建專業(yè)知識體系,銜接大學(xué)預(yù)選課程。超過 80% 的全球站學(xué)生被世界頂尖學(xué)府錄取。
力邁學(xué)校從去年(2022年)開始參加HOSA在中國區(qū)(杭州)舉辦的各類競賽活動,并取得較好成績,其中多人晉級中國區(qū)總決賽。2023年已有更多學(xué)生報名參賽,相信明年會取得更好的成績。

HOSA項目在北京力邁學(xué)校不僅僅是一個競賽項目,它和學(xué)校的升學(xué)輔導(dǎo)課程進(jìn)行了有機(jī)的融合,力邁升學(xué)老師包括專業(yè)課老師加入了升學(xué)輔導(dǎo)的團(tuán)隊中來,學(xué)校升學(xué)輔導(dǎo)變得更具有實操性、多樣性和高度擴(kuò)展性:
實操性體現(xiàn)在HOSA的競賽或活動的話題和學(xué)生們的生活息息相關(guān),即使低年級的學(xué)生也能夠很容易上手;

力邁學(xué)生服務(wù)中心為中學(xué)生提供升學(xué)指導(dǎo)規(guī)劃一對一服務(wù)、國際學(xué)術(shù)活動報名和參賽指導(dǎo)服務(wù),定期帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生參加社會公益活動,每學(xué)期邀請大學(xué)招生官到學(xué)校開展大學(xué)校園展,與學(xué)生面對面溝通大學(xué)特色和錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
為高中學(xué)生提供多國留學(xué)申請服務(wù),從9年級開始建立升學(xué)規(guī)劃目標(biāo),每周的升學(xué)指導(dǎo)課程以大學(xué)的校園文化、專業(yè)特點、錄取條件、就業(yè)背景為主,一對一訪談為學(xué)生制定個性化的升學(xué)指導(dǎo)檔案,從學(xué)業(yè)規(guī)劃、生涯規(guī)劃、挖掘特色和亮點,直到留學(xué)申請成功。
Limai Student Service Center provides one-on-one college guidance and planning services for middle school students, as well as assistance with international academic event registration and participation. We regularly lead students in participating in social welfare activities and invite college admission officers every semester to communicate face-to-face with students. We also offer overseas university application services for high school students, starting from 9th grade, and help them establish their goals for further education. Our weekly college guidance courses focus on introductions to admission requirements, academic programs, university life, and employment development. Through personalized one-on-one interviews, we create individualized profiles for students, covering academic and career planning, highlighting their strengths and unique traits, all the way to all students received admission offers successfully.
