加州大學(xué)河濱分校招生官來訪力邁The UCR Admissions Officer Visited Limai

本周三下午，加州大學(xué)河濱分校的招生官David第一次來到力邁中美（國際）學(xué)校訪問，就合作事宜進(jìn)行討論。

On Wednesday afternoon, Mr. David, the Admissions Officer from the University of California (UC Riverside or UCR), visited the Limai Chinese American (International) School for the first time to discuss the cooperation between LIMAI and UCR. 

加州大學(xué)河濱分校（University of California, Riverside，簡(jiǎn)稱 UC Riverside或UCR）是世界一流綜合性研究型大學(xué)，世界百強(qiáng)名校，美國著名公立大學(xué)，美國國家一級(jí)研究型大學(xué)。是世界上最具影響力的公立大學(xué)系統(tǒng)之一——加州大學(xué)系統(tǒng)中十所學(xué)校之一，也是該系統(tǒng)中發(fā)展最快的一所大學(xué)。

UCR is named as the ten fastest growing schools in California, and is among the world’s top 100 universities.  It is renowned as one of America’s first-level public/comprehensive research universities, and one of the ten most influential public university systems’ in the world.

此次加州大學(xué)河濱分校的招生官來訪，在經(jīng)過初次接觸和交流后，已經(jīng)建立了基本的了解，并且達(dá)成了一些口頭上的共識(shí)。 這些共識(shí)，為以后我校學(xué)生去UCR讀大學(xué)，帶來了很多優(yōu)勢(shì)和優(yōu)惠政策。例如，他們將以低于平常    SAT和雅思的分?jǐn)?shù)接收我校的畢業(yè)生。每個(gè)被接受去UCR的力邁畢業(yè)生每年將獲得大約13,500美金的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金。校長(zhǎng)推薦的力邁學(xué)生將有機(jī)參加UCR的榮譽(yù)講堂（諾貝爾獎(jiǎng)得主教授授課，世界頂尖教授授課）；夏校課程和游覽等。

The admissions officer of UCR visited and, after initial contact and communication, had established a basic understanding and reached some verbal consensus. These consensuses have brought many advantages and preferential policies for our students to go to UCR to study. For example, UCR will receive graduates from our school with a score lower than standard  PA, SAT and IELTS. Each Limai graduate accepted to UCR will receive a scholarship of around $13,500 per year. The Limai students referred by the principal have the opportunity to get accepted to the UCR Honors Classes, with a Nobel Prize winning professor as well as the world's top professors); summer school classes and sight-seeing tours.

此次招生官和我校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)們的會(huì)面，初步確定了雙方合作的方向，為以后正式簽約合作打下基礎(chǔ)。對(duì)方提供的優(yōu)惠條件將為力邁畢業(yè)生提供更好的機(jī)會(huì)和未來！

The meeting between the admissions officer and the leaders of our school initially determined the direction of cooperation between the two sides and laid the foundation for future formal contract cooperation. The preferential conditions offered by the other party will provide better opportunities and futures for Limai graduates!
